🧴 Leather Care
How do I care for a leather accessory?
To preserve the beauty of the leather and the durability of the finishes, we recommend:
- After use: gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid water and humidity: do not immerse. If the leather is slightly damp, let it air dry naturally, away from any heat source.
- Avoid heat and direct sunlight: radiators, car in direct sun, hair dryers, etc.
- Nourish the leather: periodically apply a thin layer of leather balm or milk (colorless, suitable for smooth leather). Let it penetrate, then buff with a soft cloth.
- Storage: store flat or hung, in a dry place, away from light, ideally in a fabric bag.
Can leather change over time?
Yes. Leather is a living material: a natural patina may appear with use. This is normal and part of its charm.
When you receive our leather products, don't be surprised by their rigidity: they will soften with use.
Can leather bleed color?
Depending on the leather and dyes, a slight transfer may occur, especially at the beginning or in humid conditions. We advise avoiding prolonged contact with light-colored textiles.
🧴 Latex Care
How do I care for a latex accessory?
To preserve the shine, flexibility, and durability of your latex accessories, we recommend:
- After use: gently clean by hand with lukewarm water and a mild soap. Rinse thoroughly, then let air dry, away from direct heat sources.
- Avoid stagnant water and prolonged humidity: do not let it soak. Once dry, the latex can be lightly powdered (talcum powder) to prevent it from sticking.
- Beware of objects and surfaces: avoid contact with nails, jewelry, or abrasive elements that could damage the material.
- Avoid heat and direct sunlight: radiators, car in direct sun, hair dryers… Latex is sensitive to heat and can deteriorate.
- For a shiny effect (optional): you can apply a specific latex product with a soft cloth.
- Storage: store your accessories flat or hung, in a dry place, away from light. Separate colors to avoid any transfer.
Does latex change over time?
Yes. Latex is a delicate material that can change depending on its use and environment. When well-maintained, it retains its flexibility and appearance, but a slight change in texture or shine may appear over time.
Can latex stain or discolor?
Yes. Latex, especially when colored, is sensitive to certain external elements. Avoid contact with metal, nicotine, perfumes, oils, or certain cosmetic products, which can stain or irreversibly alter the color.
Precautions
Latex can cause allergic reactions in some people. Furthermore, it is a flammable material: keep away from any flame or heat source!

What are the opening hours?
The store is open every day from July to mid-September:
- 11am – 1pm
- 5pm – 7pm
- 8pm – midnight
Outside this period, the store is open during the same hours as the Clair Obscur club.
Can I pick up my order at the store?
Yes. You can pick up your order directly at the store during opening hours. Exclusive items not available on our website are also offered there.

↩️ Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
Do you accept returns?
Yes. In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason.
How do I request a return?
Contact us at boutique.clairobscur@gmail.com, indicating your order number and the item concerned. You then have 14 days to return the product to us.
What condition must the returned product be in?
The product must be returned in its original condition, allowing for resale. The customer's liability may be engaged in the event of product depreciation resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish its nature and proper functioning.
Are return costs my responsibility?
Yes, return costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product has a defect attributable to Clair Obscur Boutique.
When will I be refunded?
The refund is made within 14 days after receipt and verification of the return, using the same payment method as used for the order. It includes the initial standard delivery costs (excluding express costs).
What if I have a problem when I receive my order?
Contact us indicating your order number and the item concerned, and we will do what is necessary to find the most suitable solution together.
Can I cancel a paid order?
Yes, an order cancellation can be requested before the item is shipped.

Yes. Our gift vouchers can be used online and in-store for 1 year from the date of issue of the gift card.

Is the gift voucher refundable?
Our gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
